Last weekend my sister was staying at a hotel near Midvalley Mall so she invited us over for a together-time. We always had our time when we were single in those days, but since both of us now have kids, we seldom (or should i say never) had our own sweet times together. So we went over at almost 2pm and had lunch at Noodle Station - which have moved to the 3rd floor near the cinema. I remember me and my brother used to 'date' at Noodle Station quite a few times before i got married.. heee. Although mr Hubby already said 'no midvalleys on weekends', this was considered a special case since my sister and brother in law are staying at a nearby hotel.
I didnt bring fatima coz i knew it would be hard to handle both kids at the same time and plusss hasan would get over excited when he meets his sister-cousin Nuha. And even all this while i am not brave enough to bring fatima out coz Hasan ALWAYS wants to follow us. (Tak bagi chance pun kat mama and baba nak date) and the FACT that he finds it fun to run around malls/pasar malam (oh i SO hate it when he runs so fast and we have to do the marathon to get him - the faster we run, the faster he runs and makes that tongue face while saying 'tak dapat, tak dapat!'.) --so that is the story why i cannot bring little daughter together unless i bring bibik too. Huuu..
After lunch, we headed to Bonita coz my sis wanted to get a brooch but to my surprise they dont sell brooches. Anyways i was holding Nuha and Hasan's hands but at times they will get over excited and let go and jump and jump and laugh and laugh. When Hasan gets excited his feet just seem like they can't stay still or walk. He just chooses to RUN. It got a bit over the limit so i had to give him a little pinch coz the crowd was overwhelming for me to handle if he ran too far. So we stopped at one jigsaw puzzle shop and there he wanted this puzzle. I thought to myself that this is better than having them not stay still and the thought that puzzles would do him good made me decide on the spot to buy it at RM27. Lucky it was not that expensive!
We headed back to the hotel and prayed Asar while i got quite excited to let them play the jigsaw. And somehow when i opened the packet i realized that they were probably too young to figure out how to play and they just threw the bits and pieces over the hotel bed. Oh NO! I immediately packed it again and just left it aside and they started to play Nuha's lego and Hello kitty house.;p
Today at home, Hasan found the puzzle and insisted me to play with him. He already took them out so i was quite excited to do it together. I sort of started teaching him to get all the ones with flat edges (like he could totally understand) but then he just made a mess by spreading them here and there. So in the end it did get complete, bit i did it alone. So i guess 3 years old is probably tooo early for medium sized puzzles. It would be better if i bought one with larger pieces with only 1-3 objects in the picture. But i dont remember seeing those at the shop coz mostly displayed ones are smaller pieces than the one i bought. Nevermind..he wil get the hang of it sooon, in sha Allah.
**one piece is missing and it was at the hotel so my sister took it home =)
