Goat's Milk

Assalamualaikum,

As the title says, today's babble will be on goat's milk. Well i've been quite a fan of goat's milk because of the many benefits it offers and plus its the second best after mother's milk. But all this while i just depended on those powdered ones and although at the beginning i was quite consistent but with so many things to do, i got lazy enough to drink goat's milk using the powdered one since you need to pour warm water and etc etc. (actually it wasnt a lot of work but it was just me who got too lazy) and instead just drank cow's milk which can be stored in the fridge.
And all the while, i always asked my brother (because we are both fans of milk) WHY dont they have goat's milk in cartons like cow's milk?
Our answers: maybe goat's milk is too expensive or maybe it was not long lasting enough to be packaged that way.

So one day in April (i think) we went to Tesco Shah Alam. When we got to one of our favorite isles where the drinks are, guess what we found..?! GOAT's milk in small bottles of 200 ml :). And the best thing is that it only need to be refrigerated in the fridge instead of being frozen so it takes less time to drink it up .  In Tesco it cost RM 4.69 but i also found out that there are people who can deliver for you. The price is RM5 and you have to buy a minimum of 12 bottles and RM3 for delivery around Klang valley. They also have ones in 1 liter packages which cost RM23 and you have to buy 3 minimum. So if we become wayyyy tooo lazy to get our feets to Tesco, then i guess we could call up for delivery . Yeayy.

Bathrobes at Home's Harmony

Just to update with my previous one, if anyone is looking to buy a bathrobe and has a hard time finding one, there's quite a lot of color choices at Home's Harmony. We went to the one at Plaza Shah Alam or what we call Shah Alam mall and reaaaally felt bad coz we actually wanted to go there the day before going to Midvalley. Unfortunately it was already closed when we arrived. And today we went there again to look for comforters. We just asked if they had bathrobes and there they had them in dark blue, turquoise, cream, white, brown..etc. :(((

Oh by the way, happy birthday to my sister in law ;) hope you liked the bathrobe but sorry we couldnt get a nicer color than white ---only if we went to Home's Harmony

No more Midvalleys on Weekends?

Assalamualaikum,

10.06 pm now and both Hasan (son) and Hussein (hubby) are asleep already. Quite unusual for this to happen since the little one regularly sleeps after 11pm...!
Ok so yesterday we went to Midvalley intending to go to the baby expo. When we arrived, we first went to look for my sister in law's birthday gift. She wanted a bathrobe and it was something least exptected that most of the shops didnt have any. We went to Metrojaya, Jusco, and finally Robinsons. There was one reaaally nice one maybe in Metrojaya/Jusco..cannot recall and even i fell in love with it but the price was rm400++!  so we looked elsewhere.

Before that we had some late lunch which was a bit of a hassle since they didnt have the food i wanted..:(

So finally we found the bathrobe at Robinsons but they only had white ones..so we had no choice but to get one coz it was already late and plus Hasan was wandering around and didnt want to sit in the stroller and also refused to be carried. He just wanted ALL the freedom as if the place is safe. When i picked him up, he will start groaning and wanted to be put down again so he could walk freely. Hu hu that was very tiring.

So after buying the bathrobe, we went HOME....oh and before that, as our first intention was to go the baby expo, we did actually go but only up to the entrance. There were sooooo many people and kids  and babies....it already looked like a giant nursery. So deciding that we didnt have a particular thing to buy at the expo and that we only needed the baby clothes detergent, we  headed straight out and finally went to Peekaboo at section 9 in Shah Alam.


We got home at 6.30pm after visiting the Shah Alam mosque and Peekaboo baby shop  which was after going through quite a heavy traffic starting from the parking space at midvalley. There and then my hubby felt like not coming to MV again on weeekends.

I didnt feel bad or anything about that decision coz i myself didnt like to go to such crowded places even those years without the baby. What more that we now have one :) . Even Shah Alam has great malls that we could get baby stuff and everything we need. So might as well just spend our time at places nearby rather than having to go through all the traffic and crowdiness.

#this is just my experience and opinion since i'm such a person who really doesnt enjoy a lot of crowd and dont think i could endure the noise in crowdy places. Some people can handle it so that's their opinion and they may love it...

'Breathing' Again

Assalamualaikum,

It feels like i can finally breathe again. I am not sure why but i guess it's because my husband got transfered to KL and today is his first day of working here --hopefully in Sg. Buloh Hospital. He had gone to the JKN earlier this morning and was asked to go and register over at Tanjung Karang hospital where he was supposed to be placed! Oh noo..i'm just afraid if they wont let him go to sg.buloh. But lets hope not. We'll see later today. #prayyy

May Allah make it easy for him at his new workplace coz i know how much he loved working in alor setar and how much ppl will actually miss him there. And it always makes me feel guilty for having him to transfer here just because of me and baby Hasan. But anyhow, Allah is the ultimate planner on all occassions and there are times in life that needs tough decisions and trade-offs. May this decision of ours be a blessing from Him, in sha Allah.

And oh little Hasan is 1 yr old and 2months already. The last time i wrote he was only almost 4 months. Yesterday he did a bit of tantrum. We got a little impatient since i was studying for my finals and he (hubby) needed to rest before his first day of work. Hasan didnt want to sleep until it was around 2am. At first it seemed like he wants to play but may be because of the parents wanting him to get to sleep, he got upset and started the t.a.n.t.r.u.m. He cried and cried as if nothing satisfied him. We took him outside the room and downstairs but still he cried. We started to recite ayat kursi repeatedly until finally we brought him back up into the room again and alhamdulillah he fell asleep. We weren't sure what it was but it may be possible that something was disturbing him. Coz i was quite sure he didnt have stomach ache or anything. But what i know for sure is it is a test from Allah to both of us parents since both needed rest and right there our patience could be tested. It reminded me of a phrase i read somewhere that says something on patience. 'Patience is not having any angry feelings inside the heart and not complaining when things that dissatisfy us comes in our way'. Reading this phrase put me into quite a static moment because i realize that sometimes it is definitely hard not to have this angry kind of feeling inside the heart when something bothers me. So there i realized that i still have a LOT to do with my heart in order to be truly patient. Istighfar.
